Holistic lessons for ages 9–16

Self-knowledge for a calmer, happier life

Let it Flow lessons give children and teens simple self-knowledge tools. They learn to breathe more effectively and to understand how the heart and the mind work and how they shape emotions, reactions, behaviours, habits and plans for the future. Knowing themselves, they can live authentically, with self-confidence, more peace and more happiness.

Why self-knowledge

Breath, heart and mind work together

When young people learn to notice what happens inside them, they stop being carried by every thought and feeling. They begin to choose.

◯

The breath

A few slow breaths calm the body and bring attention back to the present moment.

♡

The heart

Emotions are messengers. Naming them helps us respond with care instead of reacting.

✳

The mind

Thoughts become habits, and habits shape the future. Seeing them clearly is the first step to changing them.

How each lesson works

Everything the facilitator needs, ready to use

1

A step-by-step guide

A detailed description of how to present the topic, with questions and insights that invite students to reflect, share and take part.

2

A printable page

A page for each student to think, write and draw, then copy what they discover into their diary.

3

A calm start and close

Each lesson begins and ends with a short mindful moment, such as a few long, slow breaths.

The complete collection

13 holistic lessons, in two versions

Each topic has a version for ages 9–12 and a version for ages 13–16, adapted to the maturity of each age. The lessons are being finished and will be available soon.

Every lesson: a step-by-step facilitator guide + a printable page.

    A must in this project

The diary: for today, and for the person they will become

Every student needs a small notebook used only for these lessons. It is not an extra. It is the heart of the project.

    In the present

Writing helps students slow down, understand what they feel and think, and register what they discover about themselves in each lesson.

    In the future

When the pages are full, students are encouraged to keep the diary and put it away. A couple of years later, they can open it again and meet their past mind: their behaviours, habits, reactions, likes and dislikes, and see how much they have grown.

    Always private

The diary belongs to the student. It is never read, collected or graded, and sharing is always optional.

    The purpose

Raising truly healthy children and teens

The lessons are a tool to help young people reach their highest potential as adults who are healthy mentally, physically and in their relationships.

    Self-confidence

Knowing who they are and trusting their own path.

    Emotional maturity

Understanding emotions and choosing how to respond.

    Compassion

Kindness towards themselves and towards others.

    Self-discipline

The steady practice that can take them anywhere they dream of.

A small reflection can have an enormous impact when educators and parents also take responsibility for a child's upbringing, with care, love and respect for the person and the process.

    For whom

For everyone who cares for young people

    • Teachers of any subject, whenever they feel the group needs it
    • Educators in schools, projects and workshops
    • Psychologists, as a complement to their work
    • Parents, at home with their children

    When

    At school or at home

    In class

Use a lesson in the first or second half of a class.

At home: try a Flow Friday

Choose a moment with your children to take time off everything and be together, with no phones or screens. Sit at a table or on the floor and do one activity, once a month or more often, depending on your children and the moment you are living. It can be fun and self-exploratory at the same time.
